EDUCATION + BACKGROUND

Jen is a Doctor of Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization. She is a dual board licensed acupuncturist through the state of California (CAB) as well as nationally (NCCAOM), and she earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees at the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Jen earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Chinese language.

Jen’s prior work was in banking & investment management. Her experience in the corporate world offered beautiful insight and perspective, but the work itself did not align with Jen’s spirit, leading to the accumulation of disharmony throughout her entire energetic system. Called by an urgency to live a life more rooted in alignment and coherence, Jen ultimately found her way to studying Chinese Medicine. And whilst on the expansive path to here and now, she also found training and practice in lineage traditions which include: yoga therapy, partner acrobatics, music, and the Akashic Records—all intuitive techniques which she continues to cultivate and weave throughout her life as well as her treatments.

Through her doctorate program, Jen also had the unique opportunity to gain experience in diverse clinical and hospital settings which include: Rady Children’s Hospital, UCSD Neurology, and TopKare Hospice.
