What is Classical Five Element Acupuncture?
Classical Five Element Acupuncture has been described as a shamanic branch of Taoist medicine. This style of acupuncture weaves in elemental rebalancing (fire - earth - metal - water - wood) with the body’s innate ability to remember its own wisdom, coherence, and wholeness.
This particular branch of medicine is best studied through in-person transmissions via an in-depth 1:1 apprenticeship experience, and Jen feels incredibly aligned to have had the opportunity to complete a multi-year apprenticeship program with a master-level practitioner and teacher in this modality of medicine.
When we can see our own spirit clearly, all else falls into alignment within the grand harmony of life.
Classical Five Element Acupuncture is profound in that it treats at the Spirit level—the deepest aspect of our energetic bodies (spirit body - mental body - physical body). When disharmony manifests, it can be rooted in any layer of body—spirit, mental or physical. Drawing the healing request from our deepest layer of self allows for a completeness in healing that is much more profound than just symptom management. Those who experience Classical Five Element Acupuncture tend to state that they notice a stark difference in the results of the treatment. Not only are the results seemingly longer lasting for many, but the treatment itself focuses on healing at the deepest layer of self, of truth—leading to greater clarity, connection, and alignment in life.
